American Pride
Celebrate President’s Day and the spirit of American innovation, discovery, and exploration with the American Pride Laser Spectacular in Morristown. The exciting musical and laser extravaganza by Prismatic Magic, Inc. touches on several U.S. historical highlights and features pop/rock and patriotic music.

Presidents’ Day Camp
School's out, but the fun is just beginning! Children ages two through seven are invited to Montclair to enjoy a day full of learning, fun and laughter! Counselors supervise as children work on their creativity by making arts & crafts, stay fit and healthy at gym time, explore movement and instrument play, listen to educational stories at group story time and more!

Birds-n-Brunch
What better way to enjoy your day off than by joining teacher-naturalists for bird watching and brunch at the Great Backyard Bird Count. Bundle up for a trek outdoors in Pennington where you’ll visit tapped maple trees at the 'evaporation station.' Afterwards, head inside for a delicious pancake lunch served with homemade maple syrup. Don’t forget your winter gear and waterproof boots!

Annual Wreath-Laying
Jersey City’s wreath-laying ceremony takes place every year on Presidents’ Day at the historic Apple Tree House on Academy Street. The building is famous for being the meeting place of George Washington and French General Marquis de Lafayette during the Revolutionary War. Join Mayor Steven Fulop and many other Jersey City officials as they commemorate the occasion.

Snakes & Turtles of NJ
Spend your day in Mountainside meeting live snakes and turtles from Trailside Nature Science Center’s reptile collection.
