Three Celebs Set to Come to New Jersey City University in Fall 2015
10/15/2015 5:57:58 PMToday Show’s Albert Lincoln Roker Jr., better known as “Al” Roker, will speak on Tuesday, October 6th at New Jersey City University, kicking off a three-segment lecture series. The 61-year-old NBC television personality, weather forecaster, actor, author and 13-time Emmy Award winner will be the first of three celebrities set to speak at NJCU this fall in New Jersey.
Roker will present his newest book, “The Storm of the Century,” at the free event in NJ, which is open to the public and taking place at the Margaret Williams Theatre on New Jersey City University’s campus.
Next up in the series: 31-year-old actor Jesse Eisenberg, who is most famous for starring in the 2009 film, “Zombieland” and the 2010 film, “The Social Network.” Eisenberg is set to speak at NJCU on November 4th about his controversial new book, “Bream Gives Me Hiccups”. We’re intrigued to say the least!
Rounding out the lectures on November 10th is 51-year-old actor, comedian and producer John Leguizamo. Leguizamo is no stranger to the area, either. In 1995 he shot numerous scenes in Jersey City for the American comedy, “Too Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.”
While there’s no word yet as to what Leguizamo will speak about at the local NJ event, we bet he’ll get a good laugh, given his time-honored stand-up acts!
We’re excited to welcome Al Roker, Jesse Eisenberg and John Leguizamo to Jersey City for a star-studded fall at New Jersey City University.
