Todd Frazier has been the best player at every level he ever competed at during his baseball life. New Jersey natives will always remember his performance as the star of the 1998 Toms River Little League World Series Champions. Shore Conference fans can recall his larger than life play during his high school career on the diamond. Big East fans watched him crush pitches during his days at Rutgers. Twelve years after he put Toms River on the map, Todd Frazier is on the verge of making his mark in Major League Baseball.

With the 2010 Major League Baseball season just days away, teams are finalizing their rosters for the season. Although he will not start the year in the big leagues, Todd Frazier will most likely impact the 2010 Cincinnati Reds. Since being selected 34th overall in the 2007 draft, Todd has been climbing his way up the organizational ladder. Todd was recently ranked the #1 prospect in the Cincinnati organization by Baseball America despite only having played 135 combined games at the Double-A and Triple-A level. He impressed talent evaluators last season by hitting 16 home runs, scoring 74 runs, and compiling a .351 on-base percentage.

Todd has been listed as one of the top ten players to watch this season on the Cincinnati Reds website despite not truly having a position. He was drafted out of Rutgers as a shortstop, but quickly outgrew the position. He has worked this spring as an outfielder. Todd Frazier has all the tools to become a legitimate star on the professional level. Todd will begin this season at Triple-A, but has the potential to ignite the 2010 season in Cincinnati the way he once ignited 1998 in Toms River.
